BALINESE DANCE LESSON
Balinese dance is known for the dazzling makeup and costumes of its female dancers, as well as their bold eye movements and intricate finger movements. The dancers flow to the music of a traditional instrument called a gamelan while slowly moving their body's joints and muscles, paying special attention to their fingertips and occasionally moving at a quick beat. The Balinese Dance Lesson at HOSHINOYA Bali is a private lesson designed to improve participants’ posture and increase flexibility. In particular, moving the shoulder blades with an awareness of the line from the shoulders to the waist can beautifully straighten the posture. The 120-minute dance experience includes a 60-minute dance lesson, an opportunity to try on authentic outfits and makeup used in real dance performances.
